Gabriel Releases “Sacrifice”

London, England – June 10, 2016 – The songwriting duo comprised of Sally Elsey and Albert Vinasco, known as Gabriel has released their sixth album “Sacrifice” on Costa Verde Records.

With the continued online success of their first five albums, Gabriel takes their unique style back to it’s hard rock and metal roots with a collection of twelve new songs that explore themes of global strife, competition, terrorism, salvation, and the eternal battle between good and evil. “Sacrifice” will be available June 10th in all major online stores including iTunes, Rhapsody, Amazon and Napster.

“This album came together after a short break coinciding with the release of our fifth album “Unforgiven”. We took our time with this album. Sally and I have really gotten to know how to write to one another’s strengths while always pushing new boundaries.”, said, Albert Vinasco, lead guitarist for Gabriel. From the title song, “Sacrifice” to the hard pounding rhythm of “Holy Water, Fire and Ice” and “True Believer”, Gabriel’s sixth album definitely has a hard metal edge. And in a style listeners have become accustomed to, songs such as “Rebecca” and “Benedictus” clearly show a more pensive and melodic side. Gabriel combines hard and soft approaches to melody and rhythm to create sonic images that are both moving and full of energy.

“We really tried to push ourselves to come up with some new approaches that take our music out of the norm. This is most evident in songs such as “Falling Down” and “The Watcher.” Our songs usually tell a story through the eyes of different characters, or share a belief about how we see the world, and this album spins some great tales through new melodies and rhythmic approaches”, said Sally Elsey, lead singer for Gabriel.

“This album took time and required a lot of exploration for us to get just the right feel we were going after. We wanted it to reflect our hard rock roots, yet also have a nostalgic edge.”, said, Albert Vinasco, lead guitarist for Gabriel. “This time around we wanted to explore some new situations for Gabriel, such as the fate of a wounded soldier in battle. I think it really worked, and I’m proud to say we even collaborated with a national soldier’s support organization in the UK, called “Help For Heroes” in order donate the proceeds from the sale of that single.” said Sally Elsey, lead singer for Gabriel.

Albert Vinasco Launches Latest Solo CD,

“For me, mood and style are everything and they manifest themselves in melody and tones.
